A night-time outdoor gathering under a corrugated metal roof strung with tube lights, with tall decorated pillars in red, orange, yellow and blue patterns. A row of men stands on a red carpet facing a ceremony area with brass vessels and oil lamps on mats. Several men wear white dhotis and shirts, one wears a checked shirt and a rudraksha mala, and a young boy in a light shirt stands with his hands folded. Further back a woman in a white sari with an orange border stands at right. A yellow-edged banner is visible at upper left.

Night photograph of a small open-sided shrine with a sloping orange-and-white roof and striped red-and-white pillars. A signboard above reads Sri Raghavendrar Alayam in Tamil. Inside the shrine, a lit lamp and a red-clothed figure are visible. Three elderly men sit on the striped steps and platform: one in an orange-and-white shirt with a dark cloth, and two bare-chested men in orange or yellow waist cloths. The area is dark outside the lit structure.

A photograph of a group of devotees standing in a row with palms pressed together in namaskar inside a covered temple hall at night. A man in a green striped shirt and jeans holds up a camera on the left. Several men wear white dhotis and shirts, a woman in a teal patterned sari stands near the front, and a woman in white stands among the group. A man in a bare-chested white dhoti with a gold border stands at the right edge, and a woman in an orange sari stands at the far right. Two men in saffron-orange robes stand among the devotees. Behind them, a red-orange wall holds notice boards, and an orange and gold cloth hangs on a pillar beside a carved stone column with floral garlands.

Night photograph of a crowd gathered outside a Tamil temple entrance beneath a yellow-orange banner. The banner shows printed deity images with flower decorations and Tamil script naming the Tiruvenneeswarar temple. Many devotees stand close together, mostly men in white dhotis and shirts, along with women in saris, including a woman in a pale green sari and a woman in a brown patterned sari holding a plastic bag. A man in a blue shirt stands in front. Bamboo poles and a white cloth barrier frame the entrance. No clearly identifiable a person figure is visible in the scene.

A night-time photograph of a crowd walking through a temple corridor lit by bright lamps, with a glowing Sri Nithyanandeshwara sign overhead. In the centre, two elderly men in white kurta-style clothing walk barefoot, one gesturing with raised open palms, and a man in white dhoti holds a tray with a yellow flower offering. Around them devotees in white, cream and saffron-coloured saris stand watching, a man in a checked shirt and dhoti is at left, and a young man in a light green shirt holds a camera. Corridor shrines and framed deity images line the walls.
