Dusk procession on a dirt path with a red and gold umbrella overhead, carried by devotees. A central man in rust-brown sannyasi robes wears a long white and red flower garland and a dark wooden bead mala, smiling as he walks. Around him, devotees in orange and maroon robes carry tall golden staffs topped with tridents and ceremonial rods, and a rudraksha mala hangs on one woman's chest. Others in white and pastel dress walk behind in a crowd beneath dark trees and a low wall, with a building silhouette at dusk.2014-10-31October 31 20142014-10-31October 31 20142014-10-31 +1 copiesEvening procession on a sandy path with a red-ochre compound wall and palm trees behind. Around him, many men and boys in saffron-orange dhotis, some bare-chested with white tilak and sandal marks, carry a green-and-pink floral offering and walk in step. A green banana-leaf decoration and a golden ceremonial pole frame the scene, with spectators behind a chain barrier.2017-10-19February 17 20162016-02-17Outdoor procession at dusk on a paved court, with palm trees and a pinkish sky behind. A man in the centre wears a rust-red shawl over an orange robe and a white-and-red flower garland with a long white tassel, speaking as he walks. Behind him, a man holds a long-handled umbrella with a fringed red canopy, and a shaved-headed attendant in orange cloth with rudraksha malas and white forehead markings carries a tall staff. Other saffron-robed men walk and play a drum and a horn, and a man on the right in white dhoti and shawl with a red-and-white tilak carries a brass tray with a kalasha pot topped with green leaves. The scene reads as a ritual procession.2014-10-29December 05 20142014-12-05February 17 20162016-02-17 +1 copiesNovember 22 20152015-11-22
