November 05 20132013-11-05October 07 20062006-10-07A figure in a long orange wrap-around robe stands barefoot on a rock beside a large banyan tree, holding a silver-coloured walking staff in his right hand. He has long dark hair swept back and looks upward into the branches. On the sandy ground at the base of the tree sit brass pots and kalasha vessels, a blue bucket, and a cloth with bright colours. Red earth and a wooden fence appear in the background, and a red-and-white cloth hangs on the trunk. Swamiji (probable): the long swept-back hair, saffron robe and ceremonial setting align with the page's guru-puja caption, and the figure is physically present.2006-10-06A photograph of a man in an orange saffron shawl and orange garment standing beside a large banyan tree with thick aerial roots, pressing his cheek and right palm against the trunk with eyes closed. He wears a gold headband, a long gold bead necklace and has long dark hair. The setting is an outdoor garden with dense green foliage, a low concrete wall and a metal post in the background. Given the page's a person flag and the visible cues of long swept hair, gold headband, ornate gold necklace and saffron clothing, this is a probable appearance-based match for a person standing in person at the banyan tree.2010-12-27A barefoot person in a saffron-orange robe with a white flower garland and a red garland stands at the base of a large banyan tree, pressing one hand against its aerial roots and trunk. The tree has many hanging and twisting roots, and a multicoloured garland of orange, yellow and purple flowers lies on the ground at its base, beside a low white stone border. Green foliage and a boundary wall with pink flowering shrubs are visible behind.2009-12-30February 23 20112011-02-23A photograph of an elderly man in orange robes and a brown knitted cap, wearing wire-rimmed glasses and a brown shawl over the orange garment, reaching out with one hand to touch the thick aerial roots of a large banyan tree. Behind him, a younger man with long dark hair and an orange wrap smiles, and another orange-clad figure stands partially visible at the right edge. The trunk and tangled hanging roots fill the background in muted greens and browns.2006-11-21February 25 20072007-02-25A barefoot man in saffron-orange robes stands beside a large banyan tree with thick, twisting aerial roots, leaning slightly against its trunk. He wears a long orange garland, a gold-coloured waist cloth and a white forehead mark, with dark hair pulled back. He stands on a folded red-and-blue patterned mat set on a low stone platform in an open outdoor courtyard with bare dirt ground, scattered stone blocks, white pillars and a red boundary wall behind. a person based on the saffron robes, garland and white forehead marking; the page identifies him at this event, but appearance cues are moderately distinctive rather than conclusive.2013-03-17November 09 20112011-11-09A photograph of a man in a saffron-orange wrap standing in profile beside a large banyan tree with thick hanging aerial roots. He has long, swept-back black hair and is bare-chested above the wrap, with an ornate silver-coloured staff or crutch held under his arm. He leans in and touches the tree trunk with his right hand, eyes lowered, in a reverent gesture. Green leaves and sky are visible at the upper right. Appearance cues match a person (long hair, saffron clothing, distinctive adornments), so a person is set to unsure. One person is visible.2006-10-07A person in an orange-red sari-style wrap with gold-yellow borders stands barefoot on a small red-and-blue patterned mat beside a large banyan tree with thick aerial roots. The figure wears a long beaded necklace of rudraksha-style beads and has a red tilak on the forehead, with long dark hair falling down the back. The person leans with one hand against the trunk in a quiet, reflective pose. Behind are sandy ground, concrete platforms, bare-branched trees and a low wall. A small purple bird logo appears in the upper left corner.2013-03-15
