A smiling man with long dark hair and a red bindi sits on the throne, wearing a white garland and a cream-coloured garment. Two devotees kneel at his feet: a woman in an orange shawl with a long braid, and a person in white with long hair. Women in white and cream saris stand around the throne, one in an orange shawl with a beaded necklace, others with clasped hands in applause. The throne is framed by a curved arch of white flowers edged in green, red and purple, with a yellow floral backdrop. The scene reads as a pushpabhishekam-style offering of flowers to the seated figure.2008-11-12December 29 20102010-12-29July 31 20152015-07-31A seated man in an orange saffron robe and white and yellow flower garlands sits eyes-closed on an ornate gold throne heavily decorated with marigold, rose and green leaf garlands. A golden crown sits on his head and a gold necklace hangs over his chest with his hands folded in his lap. Several women with flowers in their hair, wearing white, sit in the foreground facing him, and a golden lamp stand is mounted on the dark wall behind the throne. A seated figure in a red-maroon robe with a long swept-back hair, a green-white garland and rudraksha beads sits on a throne-like seat decorated with colourful flower garlands in yellow, red, orange and white. A man in a white dhoti kneels at the lower right, bowing toward the seated figure, while a woman in white with rudraksha mala and a black-and-gold beaded necklace watches. In the foreground, a shaved-headed figure with rudraksha beads and a bare upper body sits with his back partly toward the camera. Behind them, a row of women in white and saffron saris and devotees stand in the background beside a golden shrine frame and a brass lamp. A microphone with a small emblem is on the left.2015-07-31A seated man on an ornate gold throne with red cushions, hands joined in namaste with eyes closed, dressed in a red garment with a bare chest, a gold-and-beaded necklace and a red bindi. The throne is framed by a large arch of marigolds and roses in yellow, white, purple, red and green. Around him, a group of devotees kneel on the floor with hands folded: a woman in a cream sari with a green and orange border, a young girl in red, women in white and cream saris, a yellow-shawled woman, and a shaved-headed monk in a maroon robe. A dark blue curtain backdrop and a faint smoke trail complete the scene.2010-12-22A seated man on an ornate throne is garlanded with thick red, white and yellow flower garlands, with a gold crown on his head and a rudraksha mala and ceremonial gold necklace around his neck. He wears a peach-coloured garment and smiles, his feet resting on a red cushion. Two attendants in white dhotis and white turbans fan him with long feathered fans, and a woman in a red-bordered white sari and a white-clothed man sit in front with palms pressed together in namaste. The throne is surrounded by white and orange flower arrangements, with brass plates, fruit and offerings on the red floor, and a deity murti or painted figure is visible in the upper background.2004-01-01A photograph of a seated figure on an ornate gold throne heaped with marigold and mixed flower garlands in yellow, orange, red, purple and white, with rose petals spread below. The seated person wears an orange garment, a rudraksha mala and layered gold necklaces, and a red-and-white flower garland. Around the throne, devotees in saris stand and offer items; one woman in a white sari holds a silver tray and a small child stands near. On the right a bald man in an orange dhoti and rudraksha beads stands by the throne. Behind, a painted backdrop shows a tree, and a second gold throne sits to the left. The seated figure appears to be a person, identified by the throne and the flower-laden honouring with an orange robe, rudraksha and gold adornments.2013-01-06May 08 20132013-05-08July 22 20132013-07-22
