A man in an orange saffron dhoti and orange shawl stands at left, looking toward the crowd. Several women, one in a yellow sari and one in white with a pink-and-green checked skirt, stand around sacks and bundles, sorting and handing out goods. A few women in the foreground face away from the camera, one holding a cloth bag. The setting suggests annadan or relief work, with sacks of supplies stacked on the ground.2012-01-03December 24 20072007-12-24A photo of a relief camp veranda in Pondicherry. A young man with short dark hair, dressed in an orange-saffron robe, sits cross-legged on a pinkish concrete ledge and looks off to the side. Behind him are stacked cardboard cartons and white plastic relief bundles, a black bag and folded white cloth. A white-walled building with barred windows and a corrugated roof frames the scene, with a green shrub in the foreground.2012-01-06A photograph of a covered veranda at a village relief camp in Kuttiyankuppam. A man in an orange robe with a rudraksha mala sits on the right, bare-chested and with a swept-back hair bun and orange shawl, smiling toward the camera; his cues resemble the a person description, though the face is not used for identification. Seated villagers in plastic chairs, mostly men in shirts and dhotis, watch him. A monk in orange stands at left with a rudraksha mala, a woman in orange stands by a doorway, and a man in white dhoti stands near a blue tarp. A decorated banner hangs at the right edge.2012-01-06October 07 20062006-10-07December 07 20072007-12-07Outdoor photo on a red-and-white veranda at an ashram event. A long-haired person in orange robes and a red sleeveless top sits on a white-covered seat, laughing, one fist raised, with a rudraksha mala and a red bindi, speaking into a microphone on a stand. Behind them a woman in a white sari with an orange shawl stands, and other women in white and orange shawls sit or stand. Children in the foreground watch, and a man in white kurta stands at the right edge. A small potted cypress and a red thermos sit beside the seat.2007-12-24
