August 09 20072007-08-09A photo of a covered walkway with terracotta-orange walls, red trim and barred windows, where a group of sannyasis in saffron-orange robes stand and converse. A bald monk on the left wears orange with a red border, glasses, a red tilak and a beaded necklace. Behind him a long-haired figure in orange with a rudraksha-style mala stands near the centre, and several other orange-robed monks gather around. Shoes are lined along the walls and a potted plant sits in the corner. A white-clad attendant stands at right, and a bearded elder in orange is at centre. Beyond the arch, white-clad people and a corrugated roof are visible. Dispersed monks suggest an ashram gathering rather than a formal ceremony.2009-12-30August 09 20072007-08-09December 11 20092009-12-11Five men in saffron-orange robes stand outdoors before a pink wall decorated with a marigold and orange-yellow flower garland over a window. A bearded sannyasi on the left has his hands on his chest, a shaved-headed sannyasi in the centre wears an orange shawl and holds a small object, and a long-haired sannyasi on the right stands with his back partly turned, hands raised to his head. Behind them, men in white shirts and dark trousers and a woman in orange stand watching, and an older man in a red shawl with a white beard stands at right beside a white car. Sandals lie on the ground near the gate. No a person candidate can be confidently identified by appearance, so the sannyasis are described by role only. Six or more people are visible in the scene.2007-08-09December 30 20092009-12-30Outdoor photo at an ashram-style building with orange-washed walls and a dark red door.
