A woman in a white and gold-bordered sari kneels and reaches toward a seated woman in a cream and gold sari who holds a brass plate of yellow flowers; a man in white shirt stands beside the kneeling woman, and a standing young man in orange robe with a long marigold garland holds a brass tray. Behind them, saffron-robed monks and devotees in red, pink and yellow saris stand near a flower-decked railing and marigold garlands. A figure in a cream and gold sari with long dark hair sits at right, possibly a candidate for a person in white and gold ritual dress, but the appearance is not distinctive enough to confirm. Floral arrangements and a golden ornament appear in the foreground.2009-01-01August 17 20062006-08-17June 17 20092009-06-17A seated man in saffron-orange robes sits on an orange-cushioned throne in front of a temple shrine with a gold-and-blue draped deity figure, garlands of red and white flowers, and brass lamps and vessels. He holds a golden ceremonial staff while a woman in a magenta checked sari bows and touches his head in blessing. A shaved-headed man in white with an orange shawl stands at left beside a brass-and-table offering setup, and a woman in cream clothing with an orange shawl stands at right. The scene reads as darshan at a temple.2010-06-30A seated figure in saffron-orange robes and a tall orange turban, with long dark hair falling over the shoulders, sits on the right edge of the frame with hands raised in greeting. Facing him are several devotees: a woman in a green sari with red border and gold bangles, palms pressed together in namaskar and smiling, and a woman with short white hair in a beige blouse seen from behind wearing a brown bead necklace. Another person in a white shirt bows with hands raised, and men in white shirts stand behind, one wearing an orange shawl. The background is a crowded hall with blurred onlookers.2010-02-17October 25 20152015-10-252002 - Glimpses From Various Programs2002-01-01 +1 copiesA seated figure in an orange-saffron turban and orange robe with a red cloth draped over the lap sits on a mat, smiling, while a kneeling man in a white shirt and white dhoti leans forward with palms pressed together in greeting. Beside the kneeling man, a woman in a yellow sari and glasses kneels, and standing devotees in white and green saris and shirts surround them. A small brass dish with white substance and a yellow fruit or offering sit on the floor. The seated figure has distinctive saffron turban and robes, a person candidate, though the appearance is only moderately clear.2003-12-19
