A photograph of a large black stone Shiva lingam with yellow and orange marigold garlands, set on a flower-decorated float on water. A figure in an orange robe sits on the float beside the lingam, with a white garland around the neck. Several other people in orange clothing sit on the float, which is draped with orange cloth and flowers. Crowds of people wearing white clothes stand waist-deep in the water around the float, and more people stand along the stepped stone ghats on the shore. Water sprays from fountains at the sides of the scene.
