Photograph of a large crowd wading in the water of a sacred tank beside a huge black stone Shiva lingam with a flower-garlanded yoni-pitha base and water sprays. In the centre, a decorated floral boat or palanquin is covered with yellow and orange marigold garlands and red and purple flowers; a woman in a red and gold outfit sits on a red-cushioned seat at its centre. Devotees in white clothes fill the water and stone steps around, some in orange or saffron robes at the left edge, while more people line the terraced steps and an ashram building stands on the right under a clear sky.
