April 07 20192019-04-07A white-clad elderly man with a shaved head bends forward to touch the hand of a seated figure on a large gilded throne. The seated figure wears a gold crown, a leopard-print blouse, a rust-orange dhoti and a long garland of red roses and yellow flowers, with a rudraksha-style necklace. Beside them a brass tray holds red and yellow flowers and a kalasha-like vessel. Behind, bare-chested young men in rust-orange cloths hold a flower tray and stand with palms pressed together, while a man in cream dhoti and shawl joins hands at the left. Gold-painted pillars and a deity murti frame the temple hall with a red carpet underfoot.2019-04-07July 03 20132013-07-03August 22 20152015-08-22December 15 20172017-12-15June 19 20172017-06-19Indoor ritual photograph in a temple-style hall. A seated figure on a red cushioned throne wears a rust-orange turban, orange robe, layered gold and bead necklaces, a white flower garland and gold bangles, and smiles while another person offers him fruit on a plate. A man in a white shirt kneels on a red carpet, hands raised in greeting, holding offerings. Behind them stand a deity murti with a colourful flower garland and crown, and brass oil lamps with flames. Standing onlookers in shirts and white dhotis watch, and a camera on a tripod is at the left edge.2015-06-02A seated bearded man in a rust-brown robe with a long dark hair wrap and a white forehead mark sits on an ornate gilded throne with red cushions, wearing a pink and white flower garland and rudraksha beads. A bald man in a white kurta kneels before him, pressing his palms together and touching the seated man's forehead. Beside them, a man with long dreadlocks wears a white and yellow-striped cloth and holds a bronze staff, while a woman in orange sits behind. Ornate gold carvings and a red cloth fill the background.2018-05-22A photograph inside a temple hall during a ritual. A seated figure on an ornate gold throne with red cushions wears a red-and-gold turban, orange garland and red-orange dhoti, with a gold bracelet on the arm. A priest in red-and-gold ritual cloth on the left holds a brass plate of fruit and flowers and dips his hand toward a tray. A kneeling man in white clothes bows before the throne and holds up a folded paper. Three women to the right stand with palms together, wearing white saris, one in an orange sari and one with rudraksha malas. Gold latticed panels and a deep red curtain form the backdrop with hanging bells and green foliage.2014-11-23June 19 20172017-06-19A photograph of a seated man in a golden, ornately carved throne with red cushions, wearing a maroon turban with a gold crescent ornament and a jewelled brow piece, a long white and pink jasmine garland, rudraksha-style red beads, gold necklaces and red-beaded armbands, and a maroon robe. He smiles with eyes closed and holds a small white object in his hands. Before him kneels a shaved-headed man bare-chested, wearing a white dhoti with an orange border and rudraksha beads, extending his hands toward him. A golden trident stands behind the throne and a striped tiger-print cloth covers the seat. The seated man's appearance is consistent with the page's Swamiji cues of turban, garland and ornate clothing, so the appearance-based label is Swamiji (probable), seated on the throne as the central figure receiving the kneeling priest's offering.2017-06-19June 19 20172017-06-19
