A photograph of a satsang or ritual gathering indoors. In the centre stands a man in an orange dhoti and shawl with a heavy gold beaded necklace and a sandalwood-and-kumkum forehead mark, hands pressed together in anjali. To his right a younger shaven-headed man in orange robes wears a rudraksha mala and holds his hands together. On the left an older man with white hair and beard, in white shirt and white dhoti, stands with palms joined. Behind them a crowd of devotees, some in orange and some in white, stand with hands folded. The scene suggests devotional standing worship. Orange-robed central figure with gold beads and mala matches the appearance cues, so this is a person presence, shown in person.

A photograph of a crowd at an outdoor event with a woman in the foreground wearing an orange-saffron shawl draped over her shoulders and a black and white beaded rudraksha-style mala necklace; she has grey hair pulled back and a small tilak on her forehead and looks off to the side. Behind her a man with a red tilak and a white dhoti-style cloth stands with his hands folded, and two other men in a checked green shirt and a pink shirt stand nearby against an orange-red wall.

Devotees gather inside a stone temple hall with carved pillars at a religious gathering. In the centre, a man with swept-back dark hair, gold necklaces and an orange-saffron shawl stands with palms pressed together in namaskar, smiling. Beside him, a shaved-headed sannyasi in saffron robes wears a rudraksha mala and a red tilak on his forehead, while others in orange and white stand nearby. At left, an older bare-chested man with long white hair and beard faces away. Bright daylight comes through an open side.

A photograph of a standing group in a brick-walled hall. In the foreground on the right, a man with long swept-back dark hair wears an orange shawl and dhoti, with heavy gold ceremonial beads around his neck and a tilak on his forehead, hands folded in front of him; appearance cues are consistent with a person but the identity is uncertain. To his left, an elderly man with white hair and beard wears a white shirt and white dhoti with hands clasped. Behind them, other men in orange robes with white tilak stand, and a red plastic chair and a seated woman in red are visible on the right edge.

Outdoor photograph of a group of men standing close together during a ritual gathering, several with tilak and vibhuti marks on their foreheads. At left, a white-bearded elderly man with glasses and bare chest, wearing a white dhoti, hands clasped at his chest. At centre, a shaved-headed man in saffron robes with a red bindi and a gold chain, hands folded, wearing a rudraksha-style mala. At right, a man with swept-back hair and white tripundra marks wears a saffron kurta with gold embroidered border and orange shawl, eyes downcast, hands clasped. Behind them, a man in a white shirt, a bearded man, and other onlookers stand near a decorated structure with orange fabric. Five or more physical people are visible.

Outdoor photograph of a procession-like group of saffron and rust-robed sadhus walking past a pink fabric backdrop and a decorated yellow-and-red canopy. A man at left with long dark hair, wearing a rust-brown dhoti and shawl with a long rudraksha mala and gold-trimmed cloth, gestures while speaking. Beside him, a white-bearded elder in orange robes holds a carved wooden staff topped with a cobra and wears a red mala and forehead marks. Behind them, shaved-headed men in rust robes wear dark rudraksha malas and vibhuti forehead marks, and a woman in the background wears a sari. A red wall and construction sand pile appear behind the group.
