A photograph of an open-sided, corrugated-roof pavilion with concrete pillars and a sandy floor, set up for a celebration. A man in a blue shirt and brown trousers leans a long wooden ladder against a pillar and reaches up toward a colourful striped banner, while a second man in a white shirt stands on the ladder above him. Strings of small red triangular pennants with dark circular emblems hang across the ceiling. An older man on the right, in white dhoti and shirt with a beaded mala around his neck, stands barefoot looking upward at the work. Palm trees and a partly built wall are visible outside.2006-12-30May 30 20152015-05-30May 30 20152015-05-30May 30 20152015-05-30Outdoor construction site on a paved stone plaza at dusk, with a large white steel frame being raised. Four men in work clothes grip a vertical white steel pole while a yellow mobile crane lifts a cable above them, and a worker stands atop the upper steel framework. Pale timber planks lie scattered across the stone floor. Behind them, red-brick buildings with a domed roof and tree-lined grounds stand under a pale evening sky. No deity murti, a person candidate or ritual activity is visible.2016-11-11 +1 copiesNovember 11 20162016-11-11 +1 copiesNovember 11 20162016-11-11 +1 copiesJuly 20 20102010-07-20July 20 20102010-07-20A large white tent stage with red valances and green carpeting, with a corrugated metal backdrop, stage risers, lights on a truss, and tall black speakers. One bespectacled man in the center wears an orange robe with a rudraksha mala and gestures with his hand. Brass lamps and a kalasha-like brass vessel stand near him. Four men in casual clothes, including one in a blue shirt and one in a white shirt, push and steady the upright pole while a yellow mobile crane with a hanging cable lifts a steel beam. Another worker in dark clothing stands atop the frame at upper right. Behind, a red-brick multi-storey building with a domed roof and a small dark ornate structure stand among trees under a pale evening sky. Scattered wooden planks, rods and a hammer lie on the concrete.2016-11-11 +1 copies
