A photograph of a temple-style ritual in a hall. In the foreground a woman in a red and orange sari with a red head wrap stands at left, reaching toward a gold lamp stand, with a bare-armed devotee kneeling at the far left edge. Centre stage is a gold ornate arch framing a seated figure draped with multicoloured flower garlands in red, yellow, white and purple, wearing a crown and a white ornamented necklace; this appears to be a deity murti or a figure decorated for worship rather than a living person. In front, a small brass pot and a red-and-white offering are arranged with white and yellow flower garlands. Tall gold lamp stands flank the scene, and a red velvet throne stands at right.2015-06-02 +1 copiesNovember 24 20172017-11-24December 05 20142014-12-05May 01 20142014-05-01November 24 20172017-11-24A photograph of a ceremonial stage before a red curtain. A seated man in a rust-brown robe and matching turban sits on an ornate gold throne with a leopard-print cushion, a pink-and-white garland around his neck and gold ornaments on his arms and chest. Behind him, a large floral arrangement of yellow, orange, red, purple and white flowers frames a golden crowned deity murti flanked by two smaller figures. A younger man with long dreadlocks and an orange cloth, bare-chested, leans in from the right to hold a lit oil lamp near the seated man, who gestures with his hands. The scene suggests an aarti or puja offering. Orange-robed and brown-robed figures are the only people visible, with a watermarked credit line at the lower right.2017-11-11November 24 20172017-11-24A photograph of a ceremonial stage with a long-haired man in orange-brown robes and a matching orange-red turban seated with palms pressed together in namaskar on a silver throne draped with yellow, red and purple garlands. Behind him stands a golden deity murti decorated with a garland and ornaments, and a golden figure of a seated figure with hands joined is placed nearby. To the right, a figure in saffron-orange robes holds a plate near the decorated deity murti on a gold arch. A small brass lamp stand and silver elephant figures are on the stage, and a red curtain forms the backdrop. Probable Swamiji is the seated man on the throne, identified by his long hair, orange-red turban, rudraksha mala and ceremonial seating.2017-11-24October 21 20152015-10-21 +1 copiesPhotograph of a ceremonial hall during a ritual, with orange-robed devotees seated on the left and a seated figure on a raised golden throne-like seat at the centre-back, under a canopy with a decorated arch. Standing in the middle are two priests: one bare-chested with a rudraksha-style mala and blue cloth, another in white dhoti with a flower garland, plus a turbaned attendant in a dark garment. On the right, a large ornate silver-and-gold palanquin or deity seat is heavily garlanded with yellow and white flowers, and a deity murti sits within it. Foreground holds offerings on silver trays, fruit, sweets, flower petals and a brass lamp. Striped rugs and purple stage lighting complete the scene.2015-10-18October 21 20152015-10-21 +1 copiesNovember 27 20172017-11-27
