A standing man in orange dhoti and orange shawl, wearing a rudraksha-style bead mala, holds a long palm-leaf-tipped rod over the pit. Other men in orange robes sit around the pit with bowls, and women in orange saris with red borders kneel in front, hands folded. On the left, a figure with long hair and an orange garment sits on a carved wooden seat. On the right, a garland of yellow and red flowers hangs beside a brass lamp and a blue cloth. Evening outdoor ritual at a temple-like setting with palm trees in the dusk. A man in orange robes and a beaded mala holds a lit aarti lamp toward a seated woman in orange on a carved wooden throne at left, who presses her palms together. Several devotees in orange and maroon-bordered garments sit in a row on an orange cloth before a white homa fire pit or altar with offerings on brass plates. A tall garland of red and white flowers hangs at right beside a blue cloth, and a crowd of white-clad onlookers stands in the background.

Night-time outdoor ritual at an open-sided pavilion. Dozens of seated women in saris and salwar kameez, many in orange, red, magenta, blue and yellow, sit on the paved floor facing a raised platform at right. On the platform, a row of women in white and green garlanded saris sit in front of a bright fire pit. Standing near the platform, a man in an orange turban and orange robe holds a lamp, while other robed attendees in saffron and orange stand behind him. A large oil lamp and small lamps are lit in front. A black bull statue draped with garlands sits at left, and a green banner with a world-map graphic hangs at top right.

Night outdoor ritual photograph at a homa or yagna altar. Two figures in saffron-orange robes stand at the decorated white altar, the one on the left holding a lit oil lamp and the one on the right holding a small bell and a ritual implement. The altar is edged with white flower garlands, orange and yellow marigolds, and green leaves, with a brass tray and a pot of offerings in front. Smoke rises behind the altar. A seated woman in orange and a man in white with a yellow shawl kneel with folded hands at the right, and a large crowd of devotees in white clothing sits on the blue mats and red carpet in front, with stage lights and a tent behind. Neither robed figure is clearly identifiable as a person from appearance alone, so role is given instead.

A man in an orange-saffron robe with a gold necklace and an orange head covering sits at the front right, holding a ladle over a square fire pit filled with offerings, with a microphone stand beside him. Behind him, a white-clad assistant wears a yellow cloth. Rows of seated devotees in white clothes face the fire, many holding small brass vessels, and red floor mats are lit by many small oil lamps. A decorated shrine with garlands and lights stands at the left, and a whitewashed building sits in the background. Visible people number roughly several dozen.
