On the left, a deity murti or image is draped in an orange cloth and heavily garlanded with white jasmine and multicoloured flower garlands, with a blue face visible at the top. In front are brass oil lamps, a brass plate with offerings, a small bell, a red cloth on the floor and a tray of incense and flowers. A bald man in white clothes with a rudraksha-style necklace sits cross-legged on a pink mat at right, hands joined in namaskar, performing puja.2012-01-03A figure in a white embroidered kurta and cream shawl stands with hands raised in anjali beside a decorated Shivalinga. The linga is dressed with garlands of yellow and orange marigolds and has horizontal white tripundra lines with a red dot on its front face. Green leaves and foliage frame the setting, and a red flower garland hangs from the standing figure's shoulders. The surroundings suggest an outdoor abhishekam or puja setting with flower decorations.2007-12-15August 26 20072007-08-262010 - Photo AlbumJuly 29 20072007-07-29 +1 copies2011 - Photo AlbumA photograph of a ritual abhishekam under a white tent canopy with red and multicolour fringed trim. A man with long hair wearing a saffron-orange dhoti and shawl stands at left, leaning over and pouring or anointing a large golden linga-shaped object draped in white cloth and garlanded with white, yellow, red, pink and multicoloured flower and bead garlands. Behind him another man in a dark top stands near a golden ornate seat. At right a golden standing deity murti in red and gold dress is placed beside the linga. The scene is a temple-style puja setting.2006-02-26
