He stands at the left, reaching with his right hand to touch a large black glossy murti of a deity, which has a rounded head with a small orange mark and a tall cylindrical crown-like shape. The setting is a dimly lit temple room with dark red drapes and a colourful patterned cloth hanging at the left edge, consistent with an abhishekam or pranapratishta ritual. A partially visible yellow offering lies at the base of the murti.2009-05-22June 01 20122012-06-01 +1 copiesSeptember 29 20062006-09-29A person in an orange-saffron garment with a gold necklace and gold earring stands at the right side of a shrine, one arm raised to touch the golden arched niche above a dark black stone Shiva lingam. The lingam is dressed in white and orange-striped cloth, draped with rudraksha beads and pink flower garlands, with a silver face-ornament. The shrine niche has an ornate gold frame and orange fabric backdrop, set against polished marble-patterned walls with brass fittings on a door at right. The visible person is shown from behind and partly in profile, with hair pulled back in a bun.2012-09-11A photograph of a long-haired man in an orange saffron garment with a red inner cloth and a gold bead necklace, seated at a table and tying a yellow thread around a black stone statue of a deity. Several dark stone murtis are arranged on the table around him. Behind him on the left stands a bespectacled man in white with an orange shawl, and a tree and white pillar are visible in the background. The scene appears to be a ritual preparation.2006-09-29November 09 20072007-11-09
