In the foreground, a shop front shows a sign reading "Nithyananda Ayurvedic Pharmacy" and a small poster board. A row of blue, red and white bunting hangs under a corrugated tin awning in the middle ground. Beyond, a dense crowd of people dressed in white moves through open dirt lanes and tent areas, with orange flags visible among them. Several parked cars line a dirt road on the right, and a water tank stands on a tower near the centre. Tented pavilions, brick and metal buildings and scattered trees fill the hazy background under a pale sky.2010-01-01An elevated photograph of an ashram compound on a cloudy day. In the foreground, a group of about a dozen people, some in white clothing, stand on a dirt path beside young trees, with a white dog nearby. To the left, a large white tent with corrugated metal sides and red fabric curtains sits on dirt ground. Behind the trees stand long single-storey buildings with orange walls and green roofs, a thatched-roof hall, a white perimeter wall, and a white water tower against a pale sky.2010-07-24Outdoor temple or event grounds under a clear blue sky, with three long open-sided white canopy tents supported on metal frames and strung with red and orange bunting. The low walls are painted in red and white vertical stripes, decorated with yellow marigold garlands. A framed portrait of a man with a golden turban and dark suit stands at the left edge, labelled with no readable caption. Palm trees and leafy trees frame the scene, and a small red-painted pedestal sits on the dirt ground in the foreground. One or two distant figures are visible under the canopies and near the right edge, but the scene is largely empty.2006-12-31January 13 20102010-01-13
