The figure wears a rust-brown tunic with gold trim and a red-and-gold turban with a red bindi, long dark hair, and a layered ornate garland of white and red stone jewellery. Its right hand is raised in a blessing gesture. Behind it, gilded ornamental objects and a carved wooden panel frame the scene. No physical people are present.2016-01-11 +1 copiesJune 12 20142014-06-12A photograph of a long-haired man in a flowing saffron-orange robe standing indoors beside a gold-coloured statue of a standing figure wearing an orange robe, a rudraksha mala, and a tall gold crown-like headdress. Behind them is a draped purple-maroon curtain, a gold ceremonial umbrella (chhatra), a gold throne-like seat with a red cushion, brass ritual items, a brass oil lamp, and a floral offering at the statue's base. Colourful woven-patterned hangings hang along the upper wall. The living man appears to be an in-person devotee or sannyasi rather than a confirmed identity; the statue is a depiction.2006-08-22February 01 20152015-02-01May 14 20132013-05-14 +1 copiesJanuary 11 20142014-01-11A photograph of a ritual on a raised stage. A seated figure with long swept-back dark hair wears saffron-orange clothing, a long red and white flower garland, bangles and a bracelet, and sits on an ornate gold throne with red cushions decorated with flowers. Behind the throne a large smiling portrait is printed on a banner. In the foreground, a priest in orange robes with a shaved head bends toward two silver-coloured metal murti; one is a standing deity with a bow and a crown, the other a female figure in a dhoti-like garment. Brass plates and an oil lamp sit at left, and a lit lamp glows at upper right.2012-01-08May 08 20152015-05-08Two small metal deity murti stand on a white-draped platform before a green cloth backdrop with a purple-and-gold patterned border. The taller figure, a standing female deity murti with a crown and a kalasha-like object raised in one hand, wears a red sari with green border, a jewelled necklace, layered beaded garlands and a pink-gem chest ornament. Beside it, a smaller figure is draped in a pink shawl with a green-and-gold border and a jewelled pearl-and-gem necklace.2012-09-24Photograph of a temple shrine with two standing figures before a gilded deity murti pair seated on a green-draped throne decorated with white and orange-yellow garlands. On the left, an older bearded man with white hair and a yellow tilak wears an orange robe and a dark beaded mala, hands folded in namaste. Beside him, a younger man in a rust-red turban and matching rust-red dhoti with a gold necklace, bracelets and a red-and-white garland stands with palms joined. A bare-chested attendant in white dhoti with a gold necklace stands at far left near ornate gold brass lamps. Marigold petals are scattered on the floor and a gilded arch-shaped throne-like altar sits in the foreground.2015-10-18
