Many bare-chested men in white dhotis sit in rows on the steps, with black Shivalinga-shaped stone objects and brass kalashas lined along the front. Many men in saffron-orange robes and white dhotis sit on red steps before rows of black Shiva lingams set on black yoni-shaped bases, with brass kalasha pots, bells and flower offerings placed on them. Some seated participants hold brass bells or lamps, and the crowd is dense across the terraces. At the right, a tall white lingam-shaped monument rises from a raised platform near the water, and a figure in orange stands in the foreground. The pool is pale turquoise and the scene has a ritual abhishekam feel with lingam worship.
