In the foreground, two large golden-bronze statues of seated figures are adorned with jewelled ornaments, pearl-like beads, red and orange turbans and a crimson velvet crown with gem roundels; one figure holds a hand raised in blessing. On the right, a man in an orange turban and orange robe stands with hands folded in front of him. Beside him, a man in a maroon-and-gold robe gestures toward the statues, and another man with a shaved head in orange stands at the edge of the frame. Behind them, workers and more statues are visible in the hall.2014-11-21Photo 11704549 +2 copiesSeptember 04 20162016-09-04April 27 20162016-04-27 +1 copiesA photograph of a large warehouse-style hall with a corrugated metal roof, fluorescent tube lights and exposed red steel beams. Rows of bronze and gilded metal deity statues line the floor, including a dancing Nataraja-style figure within an arched prabhavali, a standing bronze figure, and a seated golden figure in the lower right. In the left foreground a large bronze seated figure with an ornate crown and raised hands is partly visible. Several people walk through the aisle: a few wear saffron/orange robes, one wears a black head covering and red garment, and one man in white clothes stands near the centre. The scene appears to be a workshop or storage area for statues.2017-03-26May 03 20162016-05-03A photograph of a workshop storeroom filled with metal deity murti statues on a wooden table and floor. In the foreground, a tall gold-toned murti in orange and blue-black garments wears a large beaded necklace with red and white circular motifs, and two smaller gold-toned figures in orange and red garments flank it. Behind them, orange-robed standing figures with red headwear and shelves of carved objects, a golden lion-like figure, and a drum with teal sides fill the room. No living people are visible.2016-03-04April 23 20162016-04-23
