A tall figure in an orange-red turban, bare-chested under a red-orange shawl with a long dark swept-back hair and a white and red flower garland, holds a brass tray with a lit oil lamp and flower petals, as a bald man in white kneels at the floor on the left. A boy in a yellow shirt and red trousers stands with palms pressed together, a man in a white striped shirt and dark trousers stands behind with hands joined, and a man in white kurta stands at right by an open wooden door. Small metal vessels sit on the floor. People look through a window in the background.2016-03-29A photograph of a temple ritual in a small room with turquoise walls and a red-trimmed doorway. A man in a saffron-orange turban, red-orange robe and a garland of white and pink flowers, with a rudraksha mala, holds a brass plate with flowers and a small vessel toward a deity murti heavily decorated with flower garlands, beaded ornaments and a golden kalasha-style adornment. Beside him a man with long hair, white vibhuti marks, a rudraksha mala and a white dhoti with gold border stands with hands joined in prayer. A third man in a white-and-grey striped shirt stands barefoot with palms pressed together, and a fourth man in a red-brown dhoti and shawl with rudraksha beads and folded hands stands at right. A small oil lamp rests on the floor in front. Probable Swamiji is the man in the saffron turban and orange robe, performing the puja offering with the brass plate.2016-03-29Photograph of a welcome in a hall with pale walls and red banners. A man in a maroon-and-gold turban and maroon robe with gold borders, wearing a long gold-beaded necklace and a pink-and-orange flower garland, stands smiling with palms pressed together in greeting. Facing him, an older man in a white dhoti and orange-red shawl, another man in white with folded hands, and a woman in an orange top and orange-red shawl press palms together in namaste. A man at left in white with a white forehead mark also joins palms. Behind them, several people in white dhotis, saffron and white clothing stand, with a tray of fruit and offerings at lower right. Whether the turbaned man is a person cannot be confirmed from appearance.2013-11-22 +1 copiesIndoor photograph of a bright, wood-panelled room with a large pale marble-topped desk in the foreground and an empty cream leather chair. A man in a maroon-and-gold dhoti and a wide white garland with gold ornaments stands behind the desk, smiling with hands folded at the side. To the left, a man in a white shirt and white dhoti holds a flower tray and gestures in greeting, a young man in a grey shirt stands with palms pressed together, and a bald priest in a saffron-red dhoti with rudraksha mala and sandalwood tilak holds a brass plate. On the right, a woman in a white sari with a maroon blouse stands with palms joined. Several people in front of the desk show ritual honour, which suggests a welcome.2014-06-21September 13 20122012-09-13A photograph of a small room with teal walls and a wooden door. On the left, a smiling man in an orange saffron robe and orange turban stands with palms pressed together in namaste, wearing a long beaded mala with a gold pendant. In the centre, a man in white kurta and white dhoti holds his hands out toward a brass plate. To the right, a bare-chested man with a white shawl over his shoulder and white dhoti holds a brass plate bearing a lit oil lamp. Several other people stand partially visible in the background. The floor is speckled terrazzo with a small dark mat near the bottom. A small blue logo appears in the upper right corner.2003-04-11A photograph of an indoor room with pale pink walls, a dark wooden shelf and cabinet, and a large mirror on the right. A bare-chested man in a maroon turban, saffron-orange dhoti-style cloth and multiple rudraksha malas touches the forehead of a young child held by a woman in white. Two adults on the left stand with palms pressed together in namaskar, one wearing glasses and white shirt. A bearded man in a red shawl and white clothes also joins hands in greeting, and a man in white with rudraksha beads stands at right. The turbaned figure with long swept-back hair and ornate gold-toned bangles is a person, performing a blessing with his hand on the child; the other figures are devotees. Around six visible people.2013-11-24A photograph inside a small room with pale turquoise walls and a red-painted lower wall, during a temple inauguration. A figure in a rust-red turban, rust-red robe and long flower garland with a rudraksha-style mala stands centre with palms pressed together in greeting, smiling, with long dark hair falling down the back. Her appearance shows several cues matching the Swamiji candidate (swept hair, turban, saffron-toned robes, mala), so she is described as Swamiji (probable). To the left a bald priest in a white dhoti and vest holds a brass tray with a lit oil lamp, flowers and offerings. A boy in a yellow shirt and red trousers stands at far left with hands joined. Two men in white kurtas and a man in a striped shirt stand at right and centre, also with palms together. A wooden window and a door frame sit behind them, and scattered flower petals lie on the red floor.2016-03-29Photo 11739530June 22 20142014-06-22
