May 11 20152015-05-11Night outdoor ritual under a decorated canopy with multicoloured bunting and green-and-white edging. Two saffron-robed priests with shaved heads stand at a golden platform holding a lingam-like sculpture and a bronze kalasha, pouring liquid over it during abhishekam. A bare-chested assistant in white dhoti and shawl stands at right holding a pot, and a seated priest in white with a rudraksha-style garland sits at left beside an offering of marigolds. Behind them a large framed portrait labelled "Paramahamsa Nithyananda" shows a figure in a saffron turban. Brick-shaped yellow platforms with flower offerings and brass vessels fill the foreground. A small crowd of men in white and grey shirts watches from the background.2011-11-10Photo 11694026January 09 20152015-01-09Photo 11742865May 29 20182018-05-29 +1 copiesPhoto 11731954 +1 copiesMay 26 20152015-05-26 +1 copiesA homa ritual in a temple-like hall with an ornate golden throne at left. A man seated on the gilded red-cushioned throne wears a rudraksha mala and a rust-coloured wrap, his hands folded. Three attendants in saffron-orange and rust cloth stand at centre and right: one holds a brass vessel, another a metal plate with offerings, and a young boy in an orange turban stands behind. A fire burns in a yellow-brick fire pit in the foreground, with a small oil lamp and brass cups near the carved wooden door at right, and a decorated kalasha with mango leaves and coconuts on a tray. The man on the throne has long hair and a crown-like headpiece; the attendants are shirtless or in orange wraps with rudraksha malas.2018-04-11September 01 20132013-09-01Photo 11737519November 08 20182018-11-08
