Two saffron-robed priests with shaved heads stand at a golden platform holding a lingam-like sculpture and a bronze kalasha, pouring liquid over it during abhishekam. A bare-chested assistant in white dhoti and shawl stands at right holding a pot, and a seated priest in white with a rudraksha-style garland sits at left beside an offering of marigolds. Behind them a large framed portrait labelled "Paramahamsa Nithyananda" shows a figure in a saffron turban. Brick-shaped yellow platforms with flower offerings and brass vessels fill the foreground. A small crowd of men in white and grey shirts watches from the background.2011-11-10May 29 20182018-05-29 +1 copiesJanuary 09 20152015-01-09A photograph of an outdoor fire ritual on a stone platform. A fire burns in a brass vessel at the centre, with logs and a bronze pot nearby. A bare-chested man in orange sits at the fire, while a figure in orange, with a red headcloth and pendant beads, holds a long rod or implement. Behind them, a standing man in orange holds a tall ceremonial staff with a silver top. At the right, a small decorated deity murti sits in a red-and-gold palanquin-style frame. Orange-clothed attendants surround the scene, and a white wall behind carries painted Devanagari lettering.2005-05-25January 01 20142014-01-01May 03 20122012-05-03 +2 copies
