The central figure wears a tall jewelled crown, layered gold necklaces and colourful garlands of yellow, red, purple and green flowers. In the lower right, a shaved-headed priest in an orange-and-saffron dhoti with white vibhuti marks on his forehead and arms holds a lit multi-flame oil lamp toward a gold peacock-shaped vahana in front of the murti, performing aarti.2015-02-24June 28 20142014-06-28 +1 copiesA temple-style ritual in a yellow-walled room. On the left, a bare-shouldered priest in a maroon dhoti with a long garland and gold armlets presses his palms together in front of a lit oil-lamp aarti held up by a second priest in maroon with a rudraksha mala. A cameraperson in orange stands behind them. On a blue-draped altar on the right are three decorated murtis: a central deity in silver ornaments and a crown, and a figure in purple and gold with a crown, flanked by a standing figure in a rust-coloured wrap and jewelled necklaces. All are garlanded with yellow, red and white flowers, and flower offerings and a brass vessel lie in the foreground.2014-06-28January 04 20152015-01-04
