Several workers dig trenches in reddish-brown soil, one crouching at the edge of a stone-lined channel and another bending over the trench, while stone blocks and metal pans of sifted soil sit along the ditch. A man in a white shirt and white dhoti stands at right, watching. Beyond, a shrine niche painted pink holds a deity murti with garlands and a red cloth, and iron railings line the walkway. A white plastic bag lies on the ground at right.2014-11-04Outdoor photo of a trench dug into reddish-brown soil in a yard, lined with rough grey stones laid as a foundation course.
