October 07 20142014-10-07A construction site on red-brown earth with workers laying grey concrete blocks in a trench for a building foundation. Several labourers bend over the trench: one in a green top and white shorts places blocks, a man in a red shirt and white cap stands at center, and two women in saris (one blue, one red) work on the excavated sides. Stacks of blocks, piles of rubble and sand, and scattered trees and a palm line the background under a pale sky.October 07 20142014-10-07 +1 copiesNovember 04 20142014-11-04Photo 11742808A photograph of an excavated construction site with pale sandy soil and piles of broken granite blocks. In the centre, a rectangular stone-lined pit holds dark standing water, with cut granite slabs arranged along its edges. Beige rock rises on the left and a loose coiled hose lies across the foreground. A small red flag is visible at the upper right edge. No people are visible in the scene.2014-11-23April 2008 - Making Of Kailaasa In TiruvannamalaiApril 2008 - Making Of Kailaasa In TiruvannamalaiOutdoor excavation site with a shallow stone-lined pit of cut granite blocks holding dark standing water. A worker in a white shirt and blue head cloth swings a pickaxe at the slope, while another in a plaid shirt and white head wrap stands by the wall. A bent worker in a checked shirt and purple lungi places rubble stones, and a man in an olive shirt and grey trousers stands on the granite steps. Plastic buckets, a green hose and a water bottle lie near the steps, and a rubble pile sits at the top of the slope. No deity, a person or ritual activity is visible.2008-10-26Photo 11742783
