September 11 20142014-09-11A square brick fire pit (homa kunda) lined with red bricks and edged in yellow-painted concrete blazes at the centre of the frame, with flames rising from burning logs. In the foreground a large silver bowl holds yellow liquid with a ladle, and a small silver vessel with a lid sits on the left. On the right, a person in white clothing with a bangled wrist pours grain from a steel bowl, while a person in a red sari sits on the left. Rose petals and scattered flowers lie on the floor, and a pink silk cloth hangs in the background. The scene shows a homa ritual in progress; no clearly identifiable figure is visible in full.2014-09-11Photo 11727070 +1 copiesJanuary 13 20182018-01-13KAILASA HOUSTON USA On February 15, 20262026-02-14 +1 copiesSeptember 26 20172017-09-26 +1 copiesJune 28 20142014-06-28 +1 copiesJan 24 2022 sripuram2022-01-24Photo 11717757 +2 copiesPhoto 11717623 +2 copiesA photo of a homa fire ritual: a brick-lined fire pit holds a flaming wood fire, with a brass bowl of liquid offering set over the flames.
