In the foreground, a long-haired figure with a red tilak on the forehead wears a saffron-orange shawl over a bare chest, with beaded gold-toned necklaces, and smiles while extending hands in greeting. Several men in white shirts and dhotis press palms together in namaste or hold hands to chest, one wearing glasses, another an older man with a red mark on his forehead. A man with long, swept-back dark hair wearing an orange-saffron sleeveless top and a shawl, with multiple rudraksha malas around his neck, places his right hand on the head of a young child wearing a pale yellow shirt and held by an adult. A second adult in a white shirt and glasses leans in, and a man with folded hands stands at the left edge. Behind them a bald man in white dhoti-style clothing with a gold necklace stands near a colourful striped pillar, and a camera on a tripod is visible at left. The setting is a hall with a white draped canopy and orange and yellow decorations. The long-haired man in orange with rudraksha malas is a probable Swamiji in person, performing a blessing on the child.

A photograph inside a decorated hall with a tented ceiling and colourful striped pillars. A man with swept-back long dark hair, a dark rudraksha mala and an orange saffron robe smiles broadly and extends his hands toward an older man in a white shirt with grey hair and a white beard, who presses his palms together in greeting. Behind them, a man in a white shirt and a green-bordered cloth receives the greeting, and a bald monk in orange robes with a rudraksha mala holds a silver tray with a gold-handled object and a white cloth. Several other men in white and dark clothes stand around, and a shrine with floral decorations is visible in the background. The style suggests a darshan or greeting moment.
