The taller man with long swept-back hair, a rudraksha-style bead necklace and a saffron wrap holds a ceremonial item near the central figure, while the bald man on the left in orange dhoti and shawl steadies a brass tray. Behind them a gold-clad deity figure with raised hand stands among flower garlands, and a small seated figure in orange with a white mask-like face and garland sits at the lower base. Brass and silver ornaments decorate the altar.2011-12-11A temple ritual photograph of a deity murti decorated with a large garland of marigolds and white flowers, with a shaped gold and orange headdress on the murti and a silver face or mask above. A man in orange cloth with long dark hair and a rudraksha-style garland stands on a raised platform behind the murti, holding a silver vessel. Below, a man in white dhoti with an orange shawl holds a white cloth or tray of offerings, and another man in an orange shawl holds a tray with yellow flowers. Stone pillars and carved arches frame the shrine, with a red curtain at right and a framed picture at lower right.2007-12-26Photograph of a temple shrine decorated with garlands of yellow marigolds, red and purple flowers. Two men in saffron-orange robes stand at left and center; the man at left holds a silver tray with a small lamp and leaves, while the centre man reaches up to adjust a garland on a large deity murti. Behind them, a pair of painted deity figures wear crowns and red and blue garments with gold jewellery. A gilded throne-like seat and a small white figurine dressed in saffron sit in the foreground, with a golden kalasha-like finial atop the central pedestal. Context suggests a puja or abhishekam setting.2009-12-27A temple shrine with a golden arched backdrop holds a large deity murti of a seated goddess with red and white garlands, a red-orange crown and red bead necklaces, flanked by a lion-faced figure. Three priests in saffron-orange robes perform puja: one at the left holds a brass tray with lit lamps, one in the middle holds a tray with offerings, and a third kneels in the foreground with a plate of white flowers and yellow petals. Brass oil lamps, a kalasha, bowls and a garland-draped figure surround the central idol on a stone platform with a red and gold cloth border.2008-12-25December 21 20102010-12-21A photograph of a temple worship scene under a stone-pillared shelter. A long-haired person in a red-orange robe stands centre-left, holding a lit oil lamp toward the deities. To the left, two men in white dhotis with orange-gold borders hold silver trays with offerings. On the right, two large deity murtis wear red and gold garments and are heavily garlanded with yellow, orange, red and purple flowers. In front, a white-robed priest figure sits with a red cloth and a small garland, and brass vessels and a tall brass lamp stand on the floor.
