August 14 20162016-08-14A large seated crowd of men in white dhotis and white shirts sits on red floor mats, their eyes covered by white cloth blindfolds, during a meditation session at a convention hall. Many wear rudraksha malas and name badges. A few men in orange and yellow shirts appear among the white-clad rows, and a water bottle sits on the mat in front. No a person candidate is clearly visible in this crowd, and the photo shows participants rather than a single presiding figure.2009-02-27Photo 11701453 +1 copiesPhoto 11702392 +1 copiesA large seated gathering of devotees in white clothing performs a meditative practice with eyes closed, many wearing red cloth blindfolds across their eyes. Hundreds of men in white shirts and white dhotis sit cross-legged in rows, most wearing red cloth blindfolds over their eyes, some with name badges pinned to their shirts. A few bare-chested men and one man in an orange shawl are visible among them. Overhead, stage lighting rigs and a large stage screen are visible at the upper right. The scene reflects a mass meditation session. No individual can be confidently identified as a person from appearance here, so no candidate is named.2017-05-10
