December 07 20112011-12-07A photograph of a large screen showing a man in an orange turban and orange robe seated before an ornate gilded throne with carved lion figures, his hands raised near his face. Beside him, a second screen shows a video feed of a Nithyananda Vedic Temple Seattle gathering, with several people in white and yellow clothes sitting and standing with palms pressed together, and a red-draped altar with flowers at the bottom right. Swamiji (probable): the seated figure in the orange turban, orange robe, rudraksha-style gold bangles and ornate gold necklace is shown on the large screen, so this is a depiction.2013-02-26A photograph of a large screen during a satsang. Around it, a richly decorated golden throne with a red velvet cushion is surrounded by marigold and rose garlands and gold draped fabric. A seated man in a saffron-orange turban and purple dhoti-style wrap, wearing layered gold necklaces, bangles and a rudraksha-style mala, smiles on the throne. The inset is a screen showing another photo, and the figure on the throne is a physical person in the main panel, while the courtyard women appear only on the screen.2011-12-03A photograph of two projection screens at a satsang. On the left, a large screen shows a smiling man in orange clothing: an orange turban, an orange shawl draped over his shoulders, rudraksha bracelets on his upper arms and wrists, and a white stick held in his hands. Behind him is an ornate gold-patterned throne. On the right, a second screen shows a video feed of a group at the Nithyananda Vedic Temple Seattle Chidambaram centre: several people with hands folded in anjali, a woman in a yellow top in the foreground, and a red-draped deity murti or offering on a table. The left screen shows a person on screen, not physical people in the room.2013-02-26February 26 20132013-02-26
