A tall pole rises from the centre with taut guy-wires running to the top, and several people in pink and white clothing gather around its base, one crouched low near a puddle. Behind them a large crowd of people in white garments stands and sits in rows, with a white marquee-style structure, palm trees, a large tree and parked white vans along the right. The sun glows through the haze, creating strong silhouettes and lens flare.2007-12-25Outdoor ground event on bare dirt. A man in a white dhoti and shirt holds a tall ornate umbrella with red and gold fringe on the left. A long-haired man in an orange-saffron robe stands barefoot, smiling, while a devotee in an orange shirt lies face-down on the ground beneath his feet. Behind them a large crowd sits on the ground, mostly in white clothing, with some women in pink, teal and sari colours. A blue metal frame structure, a green-roofed shed, palm trees and a parked white truck are visible, and a yellow hose runs across the ground.2006-12-25
