The figure wears a green silk sari with a wide gold-and-maroon border, a jewelled crown, and heavy layered gold and stone necklaces. A green parrot perched on the raised hand is a characteristic Meenakshi emblem. The murti is framed by a repoussé copper arch and draped with garlands of white jasmine, yellow marigold and red roses, with a deep orange cloth behind. Two copper kalasha pots filled with red and white roses flank the base, and white petals are scattered on the orange floor cloth.
