A thatched bamboo canopy shades the temple entrance, with mango leaf strings hung across the doorway and a small orange-and-red signboard beside it. Several men in saffron and orange robes stand near the centre, one holding a folded orange cloth, while men in white shirts and dhotis, some with red shawls, press around them. A loudspeaker is mounted on a utility pole, and palm trees and low brick houses line the street under a pale sky.2014-06-24 +1 copiesOutdoor temple scene with a crowd of devotees in white and cream clothing gathered before a tall, colourfully painted gopuram with tiered sculpted towers in blue, green, yellow and pink.
