Rows of Shiva lingams, dark stone with white cloths draped around them, are arranged on tiered stone steps on the left. Devotees sit in rows wearing white and red clothing, some with arms raised. A large illuminated ornate shrine with a domed white top and green-and-gold trim stands on a platform in the water on the right, with a dark lingam structure beyond it. Rows of black stone Shivalingams line the stepped terraces in the foreground, and many bare-chested men in white dhotis sit in rows, some with shaved heads, performing puja and abhishekam at the lingams. On the far bank, a large ornate golden and multicoloured chariot or ratha structure stands above the water, with orange flags on poles along the edge. Tiered stands of seated white-clad devotees fill the background, and a lit illuminated pavilion appears at left under a pink-purple evening sky with a crescent moon.2017-02-24 +1 copiesFebruary 27 20142014-02-27March 31 20142014-03-31July 07 20142014-07-07December 30 20132013-12-30
