He wears an orange turban, a rudraksha mala, and a saffron shawl over his shoulder. Smoke and flames rise from the stone pit, with silver bowls of offerings and a brass kalasha with green leaves at the edge. The setting appears to be an outdoor ritual space at night.2013-11-02November 18 20152015-11-18A photograph of a homa fire pit at night, with bright orange flames and rising smoke. A man in an orange-red turban and orange-red cloth sits behind the fire pit, holding a silver ladle in his right hand and offering into the flames. Two polished silver bowls sit on the stone ledge to the left, and a brass kalasha with yellow flowers and green leaves stands to the right. The fire is built from wooden logs, and small offerings are scattered on the stone.2013-11-02
