A temple shrine photographed as a photo of a shrine with a sculpted deity pair under a gilded arch. Two large painted statues stand behind a green curtain: the central figure holds a trident and a raised hand, and the other wears a tall ornate crown and a jeweled necklace, both draped with yellow and red marigold garlands. In front, a conical silver-and-pink murti is adorned with garlands and a silver mask-like face. A shaved-headed priest in saffron-orange robes stands at the lower left, holding a small bowl or lamp, while another person with dark hair is partly visible at the bottom edge. Oil lamps stand on brass stands at the sides, with a smaller statue of a standing figure in orange and a green backdrop at the right.2013-06-29Photo 11737925June 27 20132013-06-27June 22 20132013-06-22Photograph inside a gold-decorated temple shrine. A young boy in an orange dhoti and leopard-print shawl, bare-chested with white sacred ash markings and rudraksha malas, pours liquid from a cloth bag onto a dark stone shivalingam set on a black pedestal. Behind him stand gilded deity murtis of a crowned male figure holding a trident and a female figure in a green and red sari, both adorned with jewelled necklaces and red-and-white flower garlands, framed by an ornate jewelled arch. A small deity murti with a flower garland and a brass lion sit at the base. The scene suggests abhishekam.2018-12-20 +1 copiesJune 29 20132013-06-29June 25 20132013-06-25April 22 20172017-04-22June 27 20132013-06-27June 28 20132013-06-28December 12 20122012-12-12Photo 11736856
