June 27 20132013-06-27A temple shrine photo centred on a pair of gilded deity murti seated on a dark stone peetha with a black lingam in front. The figures wear orange and yellow silk, flower garlands, and gold and jewelled necklaces; the left figure holds a trident. A priest in a maroon dhoti with gold borders, bare-chested with a shaved head and tilak, stands at left pouring liquid from a small vessel onto the lingam. Brass pots, scattered red petals and a small silver shrine model sit on the floor. A gilded arch frames the shrine, with a smaller standing gilded figure in a green-curtained niche at right. Rather than a person identification, the scene shows a temple abhishekam with a priest attending the lingam.2013-06-27 +1 copiesJune 27 20132013-06-27June 27 20132013-06-27 +1 copiesFebruary 06 20142014-02-06May 06 20132013-05-06ADIKAILASA on 3/14/20222022-03-14June 26 20132013-06-26April 22 20172017-04-22June 22 20132013-06-22A temple shrine photographed as a photo of a shrine with a sculpted deity pair under a gilded arch. Two large painted statues stand behind a green curtain: the central figure holds a trident and a raised hand, and the other wears a tall ornate crown and a jeweled necklace, both draped with yellow and red marigold garlands. In front, a conical silver-and-pink murti is adorned with garlands and a silver mask-like face. A shaved-headed priest in saffron-orange robes stands at the lower left, holding a small bowl or lamp, while another person with dark hair is partly visible at the bottom edge. Oil lamps stand on brass stands at the sides, with a smaller statue of a standing figure in orange and a green backdrop at the right.2013-06-29May 21 20132013-05-21
