A seated man on an ornate golden throne with red cushions and a red rug wears an orange-red robe and a white tripundra, hands folded in his lap. In front of him, a priest in orange-red cloth, bare-chested with white markings on his arms and a rudraksha mala, leans over a yellow brick fire pit with a bright flame and reaches toward a metal bowl. Striped woven mats cover the floor, and offerings with fruit, flowers and decorated bundles sit nearby. An orange turban and a wooden carved cabinet appear in the background.2018-05-29April 26 20182018-04-26 +1 copiesPhoto 11735605March 03 20112011-03-03 +1 copiesNight outdoor homa at a fire pit with bright flames. In the left foreground a person in rust-brown and gold ritual clothing and a head wrap leans toward the fire holding a yellow garland. On the right, a man in a rust-brown dhoti and gold-bordered shawl stands with palms pressed in anjali near an empty red velvet throne with gold trim. Behind them a few devotees stand watching, one in pink and purple. A brass vessel sits by the throne and a dark vehicle is parked at the right edge.2013-10-07August 22 20172017-08-22February 16 20162016-02-16A seated man in a gold crown and saffron-red silk dress sits on an ornate gold throne decorated with carved lion heads and a backdrop of flower garlands in red, yellow, green and purple. He wears layered gold necklaces and a red-and-white flower garland, and holds a golden staff. Before him a bare-chested priest in a rust-coloured dhoti holds a lit flame, while a young assistant in orange and gold stands with a silver bowl, and an elder in white and orange clothing stands nearby. The scene appears to be a temple-style ceremonial arati in an indoor hall. Swamiji (probable) is the seated figure on the throne, identified by the gold crown, saffron-red dress and rudraksha-style gold adornments.2015-04-28
