Photo 11680820Several women in saffron-orange saris with yellow borders sit cross-legged on a white floor, hands pressed together in namaste at chest level with eyes closed in prayer. Many wear rudraksha mala necklaces and bangles, and some have white and red forehead markings. In front of them are green banana-leaf plates holding food portions, with small white paper cups nearby. The setting appears to be an indoor hall, with more seated devotees visible in the background.2013-01-01 +1 copiesSeptember 11 20172017-09-11Photo 11737407January 07 20192019-01-07 +1 copiesPhoto 11736777 +1 copiesAnnadhan in 20122012-01-01 +1 copiesAnnadhan in 20132013-01-01 +1 copiesAugust 05 20132013-08-05A large group of women in rust-red and saffron-orange traditional dress sit cross-legged on a white floor in a hall with cream walls and wooden doors. Many wear rudraksha malas, vibhuti or kumkum on their foreheads, and some have hair tied back or in a braid. Several have hands folded or resting in their laps, and banana-leaf plates with food, steel cups and bowls sit in front of them. A small raised lectern stands at the left edge, and more seated devotees in orange appear in the background near the doorways.2017-07-03November 14 20132013-11-14Photograph of a long row of women seated on the floor in saffron-orange saris with maroon borders and rudraksha malas, hands pressed in anjali mudra with eyes closed, in front of a long line of banana-leaf plates piled with fruit, rice, sweets and curries, with water bottles along the edge. Behind them, more seated people in white and orange clothing fill a bright hall with golden decor. Several women wear bindi, bangles and forehead tilak. The scene suggests a communal annadan meal offered in devotion.2016-09-30 +1 copies
