White jasmine petals cover his chest and lap, pink rose petals spill across the middle, and bright yellow marigold petals fill the foreground. Red and orange flower garlands hang along the top left and right. A small silver necklace or pendant is visible at the turban. The scene suggests a floral welcome or abhishekam-style offering of flowers. The flat pink-gold palette dominates the frame.2012-07-03A seated man in an orange-saffron robe and matching orange turban sits on a white cushioned seat in a room with pale blue curtains and a white sofa. He has a red bindi on his forehead, a rudraksha mala around his neck, and is draped with a long garland of white jasmine, red roses and green leaves, with blue glass-beaded ornaments on the garland. He sits with eyes lowered and hands resting in a meditative pose, with bare feet on a floor scattered with petals of red, yellow and white flowers. Flanked by potted white and pink flowering plants and a floral-patterned table cover, this is a ceremonial welcome or honouring scene.January 13 20142014-01-13 +1 copies1996 - Puja Manual Handwritten by HDHA smiling man with long dark hair and a short beard sits cross-legged on an ornate silver throne decorated with garlands of red, yellow, purple and white flowers and silver lion-head armrests with leopard-print cushions. He wears a pink turban with gold-and-green embellishment and a red bindi, smiling with eyes closed. Garlands of red, orange, pink and white flowers hang behind him and the ornate gold throne backrest rises above. a person: a long-haired figure with ceremonial gold earring and adornments, seated in flower-covered honour; the pink turban and bindi are visible cues. Only one physical person is visible.2012-07-03A smiling man in a pale silver-grey pleated turban with a small red bindi on his forehead looks upward to his right. Long dark hair falls past his shoulders. He wears a pink and purple embroidered kurta with gold and blue sequin details, draped with a garland of white flowers, red roses and green leaves, along with heavy gold beaded necklaces. Behind him is an ornate gold-embossed backdrop with decorative scrollwork and a circular motif. The turban, long hair, ornate robe and ceremonial garlands give a candidate presentation consistent with the Swamiji description, so this is an appearance-based probable match rather than a confirmed identification. Swamiji (probable) appears in person.2010-01-01
