A corrugated-metal food serving area at night with a tall sign reading LADIES. A man with long, dark, wavy hair wearing a sleeveless saffron-orange garment stands with his back to the camera, holding a steel plate and reaching toward a large steel pot. Beside him a young man in a white shirt ladles food from another pot. An older man with grey hair and a moustache sits at left behind a steel vessel, and other people are partly visible at right. Bamboo poles and a green-and-white banner with Tamil script hang overhead. Circumstantial cues that the saffron-robed figure is a person are the long hair and orange clothing, so the appearance is probable.

Outdoor food offering scene under palm trees on a sunny day. In the foreground a long tan table holds a large brass plate of white grains, a stainless steel pot with a lid, a brass tray of marigold and red flower petals, and a small bowl. A man in a white shirt with a long dark wavy hair and beaded necklace stirs or serves from the steel pot. Beside him a shaven-headed sadhu in saffron-orange robes with a rudraksha mala holds a tray and serves. Another shaven-headed man in orange wrap with a red-brown mala stands behind the table. Devotees in white and colourful clothes, including a woman in white with beaded necklace, watch from the left. The setting suggests a community annadan or prasadam distribution.

A photograph of a serving counter in an indoor hall with a tiled floor and pillars. Four men in white shirts wear lanyard badges and rudraksha malas; they use clear plastic gloves to serve rice and food from steel buckets with ladles onto plates. A man in a checked shirt on the right holds out a plate of rice and curry, and a further man stands at the back. The scene appears to be community food service at an event.

A photograph taken indoors under a corrugated metal roof of a makeshift shed. A long-haired figure in a saffron-orange sleeveless robe and a red forehead mark stands in the foreground, holding a metal plate and facing left toward the group. Behind a corrugated metal counter, several young men in white shirts and a smiling older man in a dark shirt stand around large steel cooking pots. The figure with long dark hair and orange robe appears to be a person by appearance cues: long swept-back hair, saffron clothing, and a red mark, though identity is uncertain. Other people are in plain shirts, one in an orange and white plaid shirt on the right.

A photograph of an annadhan food distribution under a thatched palm-leaf roof supported by wooden poles. In the foreground, a woman in a white top and dark beaded necklace, and a man with white hair in a light shirt, serve rice from metal pots onto steel plates held by a bearded man in a grey striped shirt. Behind them a line of villagers waits, including women in saris and a young child in a brown shirt. Several people are visible; no a person candidate is identifiable from the image, and his presence is not established by appearance.

A photo of a kitchen serving line in an ashram setting. A man in saffron-orange robes and an orange head wrap, with long swept-back dark hair and a rudraksha mala, wears clear gloves and uses a steel ladle to serve food from a large steel pot onto a plate. A young woman in a lavender floral salwar with a long braid and glasses faces him, holding a bowl of curry. Other people stand behind the counter in white shirts and a woman in a red-bordered sari, with steel vessels and pink tiled walls in the background.

Outdoor relief distribution in a dirt village lane after a cyclone. Volunteers in light blue and green head caps stand at a green-railed cart or vehicle ladling a yellow rice dish from a large steel pot into small steel bowls held out by villagers. A woman in a white head covering and white top and a man in a white shirt and checked lungi stand nearby. Children in colourful shirts and shorts crowd the road, and women in saris watch from behind. Dry brush and cut branches line the lane, with thatched huts and a goat visible in the background.
