A photograph taken indoors under a corrugated metal roof of a makeshift shed. A long-haired figure in a saffron-orange sleeveless robe and a red forehead mark stands in the foreground, holding a metal plate and facing left toward the group. Behind a corrugated metal counter, several young men in white shirts and a smiling older man in a dark shirt stand around large steel cooking pots. The figure with long dark hair and orange robe appears to be a person by appearance cues: long swept-back hair, saffron clothing, and a red mark, though identity is uncertain. Other people are in plain shirts, one in an orange and white plaid shirt on the right.

Several other saffron-clad monastics with shaved heads, one in white with a rudraksha mala, and a man in white dhoti stand in line. He wears a long rudraksha mala around his neck, a red-brown tilak on his forehead, and clear plastic gloves, and he ladles food from a large steel pot into a container, smiling.
