A man with long dark swept-back hair, a red bindi and white ash markings, wearing a saffron-orange dhoti and shawl, rudraksha-style beaded and silver bead necklaces, and a gold armlet, raises one hand in greeting while holding a silver trident. He stands before a silver-trimmed seat draped with a leopard-print cloth. In the foreground a bald man in orange robes faces him holding a flame lamp. Around them devotees in white and orange kneel and stand with palms pressed together, including a boy in white with a red bead mala, a few women in white and red-bordered saris, and a standing man in a white shirt. A gold ceremonial staff with a sun-disc finial and a red-and-orange flag appear at the edges. The man in the centre matches the a person cues of swept-back hair, a trident-bearing role, saffron and ornate beaded dress, so the visible presence is an appearance-based candidate.2013-02-13Photo 11691144 +1 copiesA photograph at a riverside ghat where a long-haired figure in saffron-orange robes, with rudraksha beads and ornate white-and-gold necklaces and bangles, sits on a raised seat with a trident-topped base. A devotee in cream and red-bordered dress lies prostrate with head bowed at his feet. Women in cream saris with orange shawls and gold jewellery stand behind, one holding a microphone, and others wear orange sashes around the waist. Nearby, a river with marigold garlands floats on the water and a person bathes at the edge.2013-02-13February 13 20132013-02-13Photo 11731193Photo 11691169 +1 copiesPhoto 11727263December 26 20132013-12-26December 26 20132013-12-26
