Dusk view of a temple courtyard with a tall, slender, copper-coloured dhwajasthambha flagstaff topped by an ornate finial and a small red flag, set on a red stone base decorated with a garland of orange and white flowers. To the right, a corrugated shelter has an orange cloth draped over its side, and a small figure in white garments stands near a red stone platform. Palm trees and bare trees frame a pale pink evening sky. Two people in white and red clothing are visible at the base of the flagstaff area, one in a white sari with a red border near the left platform.2013-03-10March 10 20132013-03-10Photo 11744517 +1 copiesA photograph of a flag-hoisting ceremony outdoors under palm trees. A tall, ornate copper-coloured flagstaff rises from a white plinth, wrapped with yellow and orange garlands at its base. A red-orange flag is being raised on ropes. Beside it, a figure in orange robes stands at the base of the pole, and several people in orange and saffron clothing gather on the right near a decorated structure with red and gold trim. A small umbrella with colourful panels shades part of the group. A pink flowering tree stands at the right edge.2009-02-23Photo 11687406A tall polished copper dhwajasthamba, a ceremonial flagstaff with stacked decorative tiers and orange pennants, rises from a red stone base in an open courtyard. Orange triangular bunting hangs under a dark metal-framed canopy, and palm trees stand behind. At the lower right, a few people sit on a raised red platform beside a white-draped seated figure with a flower garland, which is a deity or a seated person under cloth. A small ornate shrine tower with coloured canopy appears in the background, and a red building wall stands at right.2010-12-26March 10 20132013-03-10Photo 11682556April 25 20132013-04-25June 18 20142014-06-18March 26 20082008-03-26February 17 20142014-02-17
