Behind him, several other boys in saffron-orange cloth sit in a ritual gathering, some with white markings on their skin, and incense smoke drifts through the frame. In the lower corners a brass lamp and a few flowers are visible at the edge of the ritual setting. The image appears to show a puja or satsang with participants seated in prayer.2017-07-20July 06 20122012-07-06September 30 20112011-09-30Seated meditation in a hall with many participants on mats. In the foreground a young boy in white dhoti and shawl with a red-brown rudraksha mala and a white forehead mark sits with eyes closed, hands in lap. Beside him a boy in white kurta and dhoti sits with hands clasped. Behind them men and boys in white and one in orange sit in rows. A brass vessel and a small plastic container with offerings sit on the floor at lower left.2011-10-06A photograph of several young boys seated closely together in a hall, eyes closed or lowered in meditation. The boy in the foreground centre wears a white dhoti with a golden-yellow border, a rudraksha mala around his neck, and a white vibhuti line on his forehead. Others beside and behind him wear plain white cloth wraps over their shoulders and dhotis. A small pink tray with fruit or offerings sits on the floor near the group, and metal pillars and a reddish wall form the background. The scene suggests a group meditation or satsang session.2011-09-24Photo 11729893
