September 24 20122012-09-24September 29 20062006-09-29Outdoor construction site with stacked grey stone blocks and a yellow excavator-type machine near a stone-walled foundation. Several workers in lungis and shirts stand or crouch around the stonework, and a man in a blue shirt kneels at the lower left. Behind them a small ornate canopied palanquin or ratha-like structure is being moved, with a group of people in white dhotis and shirts carrying or walking beside it. A tall scaffolding tower and coconut palms frame the scene under a pale sky.2006-12-14December 22 20062006-12-22February 10 20092009-02-10December 22 20062006-12-22Outdoor photograph of a temple under construction. Bamboo scaffolding wraps a pink-painted gopuram-style tower on the left and rises across the grey roof of a concrete temple structure. Several white and grey sculptures stand on the roof, including a figure carrying a pot and animal forms, while workers on the scaffolding handle the decorative work. A rocky brown hill rises behind, with a palm tree and roadside shops with yellow signboards on the right. Overcast haze fills the sky. A digital date stamp reads 12.04.2008.2009-02-10December 22 20062006-12-22December 22 20062006-12-22Photograph of a building under construction: a white-painted concrete block wall with a corrugated metal roof section, wrapped in a lattice of bamboo or wooden poles forming scaffolding. Two workers are visible: one standing on the upper roof level near a palm tree at top left, and a second figure in a green shirt partly hidden inside the doorway opening at centre. Concrete steps lead up to the entrance, and red-painted block lines run along the lower wall at right.2007-03-29Outdoor photo of a tall wooden ritual flagstaff, wrapped in cloth and garlanded, rising from a white stepped plinth in a dusty open yard. A small red flag hangs from the pole and a carved finial sits at the top. Beside it stands a black stone Nandi bull statue draped with orange and yellow marigold garlands on a white base. Coconut palms and tall trees frame the scene under a pale sky. Two or three distant figures in white clothing sit or stand near the left edge, partly obscured.2006-12-26A wide outdoor construction site at AadiKailaasa in Bidadi, seen through the dark silhouetted leaves of a tree in the foreground. A rectangular concrete base or platform sits in the centre, with workers in light clothing and some in white around it, while a bamboo scaffold tower rises at right beside coconut palms. Stacked stone blocks, sandy earth, scattered tools and a few distant figures fill the open dry ground under a pale sky. Several people stand near the platform, but the scene is mostly construction work rather than a ritual gathering.2006-12-14
