A photograph of a stage at an indoor session hall. In the foreground, a bronze statue of a seated deity stands on a teal and gold cloth draped over a table, with marigold garlands along the stage edge. Behind it, a row of people stands on the stage: a woman in pink and white with a shawl, a man in a light blue shirt and dark trousers, a bearded man in a checked shirt and black turban, a woman in a white dupatta and white kurta, and an older man with white hair and round glasses wearing an orange kurta and white trousers. Further right, women in pink and red saris stand near the stage edge. A banner with chakra symbols hangs on the back wall, and an audience is seated in the lower right. The people on stage are visible as a group; no identification is made from appearance.2014-04-29A group of nine people stands on a red-carpeted stage decorated with white and purple orchid arrangements, white and maroon draped fabric and a gold curtain. At centre, a person in a saffron-orange robe and orange head wrap holds up a small framed book while the others in white dhotis, white sari, striped shirts and white shirts stand with hands folded. Two seated technicians in white shirts operate a mixing console in the foreground. The scene suggests a book-release ceremony on stage. The saffron-robed figure has long hair and a rudraksha-like cue is not clearly visible, so the identity is uncertain.2009-03-03October 13 20122012-10-13KAILASA LOS ANGELES, USA on 10/26/20192019-10-26A group of about a dozen standing people in white and orange clothing stands on a stage in front of a red velvet curtain, with a blue ornate throne-like seat visible behind them. Several are in white kurtas and saris, one in an orange sari, another in a green-and-white sari, and a man in a grey vest stands at a microphone stand. Audience members sit on the floor and in chairs in the foreground, many in white clothing, facing the stage. Stage lights and a wooden table with items are visible at the right edge.2009-10-23May 01 20232023-05-01March 03 20092009-03-03Photo 11694677A book presentation on a decorated stage with red carpet, white and purple orchid floral arrangements, and gold and maroon draped fabric. A figure in a saffron-orange robe with an orange turban stands centre-left, extending a small object or book to a man in a white-striped shirt and black trousers. Beside them, a line of standing people watch and gesture with hands folded: a man in a lavender shirt and white dhoti, an older man in a grey shirt and cap, a woman in a cream sari with gold border, a man in a white shirt, a man in a red polo, a man in a maroon shirt, and an older woman in white on the far right. Three seated figures are at the centre: on the left a shaved-headed monastic in saffron-orange robes gesturing with his hands, in the middle an elderly shaved-headed monk in maroon robes with white socks, and on the right a woman in a red shawl with a red bindi holding a small white object. Around them stand about a dozen people in saris, kurtas and suits, including a woman in a beige sari with a rudraksha mala, a man in a blue checked shirt bending forward, and a man in an orange jacket at the far right.2023-09-23
