A pillared open hall with dim lamps stands to the left, a pink-washed wall and green metal shutters sit to the right, and a tall street lamp stands in the foreground. Two or three small figures in light clothing are at the lower left, partly visible. Yellow barriers are at the base of the gateway.2012-04-05May 29 20122012-05-29Night view of a South Indian temple gopuram, a tall tiered tower densely carved with deity and figure sculptures and lit by floodlights, rising above a gateway with a central doorway glowing with red-lit interior light. Seven people in saffron and orange robes sit on the paved ground at lower left, some with their backs turned, while a lone person in a light garment stands in the doorway area. A small oil lamp stands on a pedestal near the entrance. At lower right a stall or kiosk with a corrugated roof and a counter is set beside a fence. Sandals are scattered near the gate.2017-02-07May 16 20122012-05-16 +1 copiesNight photograph of a colourfully decorated South Indian temple shrine with a tiered, sculpted gopuram-style roof crowned by a finial, its painted pillars and walls lit from within. Several people in orange and red robes walk near the entrance steps, and a stainless steel bin stands in the foreground on a paved courtyard beneath a tall street lamp.
