Night aarti at a Shiva lingam in a temple setting. A woman in an orange-red sari with a long rudraksha-style mala holds a flaming camphor lamp aloft with one gloved hand while her other hand is folded in prayer. Three shaven-headed men in saffron-orange robes and beaded mala necklaces stand behind and to the sides, hands joined. A large white-coated shivalingam, decorated with a pink lotus flower on top, is at right beside a brass plate. Warm firelight and dark background.2013-03-10March 10 20132013-03-10March 10 20132013-03-10November 17 20132013-11-17A photograph of a long-haired man in an orange-red dhoti and shawl pouring white liquid over a large white Shiva lingam set in a dark stone yoni-peetha, a pink flower and green leaf resting on top. Around him, four men in matching orange-red robes and gold-beaded garlands stand in a temple-like setting; one holds a brass vessel and another a flame-lit lamp. A small white deity murti sits at the lower left. The scene reads as an abhishekam, with the lingam bathed in milk. Swamiji (probable): the central figure has long swept-back hair and ornate orange clothing, and the page names him as present at this event.2013-03-10March 10 20132013-03-10January 01 20142014-01-01March 07 20162016-03-07Photo 11732678November 17 20132013-11-17March 10 20132013-03-10November 17 20132013-11-17 +1 copies
